Bay State Animal Cooperative
Mission Statement:
To practice a no-kill philosophy and provide humane resources and services aimed to reduce overpopulation and unnecessary suffering for companion, stray, relinquished and feral animals.
To work cooperatively with other humane organizations,local municipalities and the community to develop and implement programs including but not limited to; low-cost spay/neuter assistance, low cost medical care, trap-neuter-return, community out reach programs and events, sheltering and adoption, mobile medical, adoption and education services, fundraising events and a santuary. To provide assistance, resources and structural support to individuals within local communities as they pursue a no-kill philosophy of animal control where they reside, work and socialize.
Next Meeting
Bay State ANimal is moving forward and is hosting another meeting on Aug. 12 at the Stonehill Non-profit Center at 16 Belmont St.(rt. 123) South Easton MA 02375 at 7:30pm.
The entity will officially file 501(c)3 by mid July
Donations can be made out to the Bay State Animal Cooperative, 47 Winsdor Rd, Norwood, MA 02062, after that time to be used towards the goals of continuing Trap-Neuter-Return Programs, Raising funds for the opening of a low cost spay/neuter clinic in the Brocton area( approximately 120K needed for this endeavor).
We are desparately seeking DONATED space(minimum2,000 sq.ft.) for the clinic and laborers and supplies to renovate the space for the clinic. Adoptions and sheltering will also be operated out of this location.
